About Us
As a child, I was always around my grandfather who loved his German Police dogs (German Shepherds). Even then I was impressed by how intelligent these dogs were. It wasn’t until I observed one willing to lend itself for the protection of the home that I was totally convinced. After my service in the United States Navy, I started working and training dogs. At first it was only with my own dogs and a few close friends. Soon others where asking about training for their dogs. After training many dogs you realize that all dogs are NOT created equal. This is why Felder Haus German Shepherds was developed. We wanted to ensure the proper breeding and training for high quality German Shepherds possessing versatile skills used in the working of Police, Military, Search and rescue, Service dogs, and Herding. It is important to us that our dogs are capable of doing all this as well as being a devoted member of the family.

Felder Haus German Shepherds is an innovative kennel looking to better the breed. We specialize in producing top quality German Shepherds. It is of the utmost importance to insure every dog is well conditioned as well as trained properly to test each dog to its full potential. This helps us decide which dog is suitable for breeding and which dogs are not. If a dog does not pass our tests it is disqualified from being bred here at Felder Haus. We take breeding seriously and understand that if bad dogs are bred it not only affects the dogs themselves but also the buyers. This is why we guarantee each dog purchased from us. This guarantee is discussed to ensure each buyer understands in full the scope of the warrantee. We believe in our dogs and stand by them.
About Our Dogs
It is bold to claim that you have some of the best bloodlines in your kennel. We believe in being bold. At Felder Haus we have some of the most prominent bloodlines in the world. Each dog is hand selected for their pedigree to ensure the genetics from some of the best producers of the breed are there. We screen our dogs to make sure the correct Composition, Temperament, Nerves, and Ability are all present. We have imported dogs from the most renowned breeders around the world. These breeders have not only studied the most prominent dogs of the breed but where there to Feed, Train, and Give Veterinary Care to them. It is from these breeders with first hand experience of the dogs pro’s and con’s that we have worked hand in hand with selecting our breeding stock at Felder Haus. This formula has proven itself not only in Czech Republic, West Germany, and East Germany but also here at Felder Haus. We are VERY proud of the quality of German Shepherds that we produce here from proven bloodlines. These dogs are among the best in the world because they have proven themselves among them. Time and again you will see top competitors in the WUSV with the same blood coursing through their veins as we have here at Felder Haus.
